Very comfortable stay, recommend!

Very comfortable bed, nice rooms and a good breakfast!

Little bit out of town, but it’s rear a really nice night market. WIFI could be faster but it’s manageable.

Love it

The hotel is in a great location. Great night market with lots of food and shopping within a short walk. Close to the CMU reservoir for walks. Wonderful staffs with a youthful and polite manners. Will recommend to everyone.

A great hotel that is centrally located, with friendly staff and comfortable beds.

The location is great. It is very close to Chiang Mai University, shopping areas, and many restaurants (including very nice and cheep vegetarian or vegan restaurants). The interior decoration (walls with very cute drawings in the rooms and also on the hallways). The triple room that I stayed has a superb view that I can see the quiet and peaceful street scene from my windows.

What was the highlight of The Core Street By Stay Now

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, but did not quite meet my initial expectations.

The hotel is situated in quite a convenient spot right next to a market / food market, with convenient stores and restaurants dotted around the area. It’s also not far from small shopping malls, and quite close to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedding was very comfortable, and breakfast was quite decent, although not particularly exciting.

We didn’t exactly have a high expectation prior to checking-in, but still, ended up feeling rather disappointed with what we saw. Aside from all the positive qualities mentioned above, the hotel, especially the room and bathroom, was a little run-down, with badly finished details. The couch in our room was a little dirty and felt old. The too-long curtains were left hanging sadly on the floor. The TV had a really bad signal and low quality pixels. The tiling in the bathroom was messily done, leaving many chipped areas. The bathroom furnishings felt cheap and roughly installed, not to mention the grit, moulds, and stains in the shower area. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, and the white lighting in both the bathroom and bedroom gave off a “hospital-like feel”. There’s also little storage space in our room, and only one bedside table. The air-conditioning was not very powerful and took forever to cool down the room / keep it nice and cool during the day. The road was also somewhat noisy in the late evening, although, thankfully, it got better into the night.

I had a lovely room directed to the pool.

I had a lovely room directed to the pool. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom nice and light. Cleaning service was really good and paid attention to details. Pool was lovely and I loved the lobby with the nice interior design. A few nice cafes to eat around, I loved the Art Roastery on the other side of the street for my breakfast :)

I found it challenging that the staff didn't really speak English...in a hotel that category I would have thought they do. Hence they weren't really helpful. When my flight was moved 24hours earlier, I asked to get a refund for one (!) night - having stay for 2 weeks (!) and the only thing I got was "No refunds" in a rather rude way. No offer whatsoever like free breakfast or anything. I was also not informed about bike rental... The location is okay subject to what you are looking for. But if you want to be close to the old city, then go into the old city. I found myself going back and forth a lot, by taxi which adds up money wise. Also be aware that the street is rather big and hence noisy, if you are sensitive bring ear plugs.

The breakfast was good.

The breakfast was good. The hotel had a pool; although we never used it.

Communicating was an issue, I would expect a hotel of this location, price and caliber to be able to converse somewhat in English or show some assistance. The staff did not seem overly eager to assist us. Certainly no concierge system at this hotel. Changing a bus ticket was not possible through communication and interest shown to solve the issue was non existent. This has led to my lower rating of this property.

It was a pleasant stay

The staff were very helpful.. Stayed in family suite was a very good size

The cleanliness of the hotel could have been better.we stayed 3 nights there the 1st day at night we saw small ants on our room floor and the dining table made of wood was broken with loads of small ants on it we could not even eat on it . Breakfast option could have been better. We we're vegetarians and the chef did make us dishes so that was good but I would not rate much for the options of breakfast

Best hotel I've stayed at! Value for money!

I was immediately amazed as soon as I walked into the lobby. Amazing hotel with great rooms and facilities. Night market outside of hotel, quite area. Free water in the guest rooms, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay at for any purpose of travel.

excellent stay

Hotel has a beautiful and original style, we loved the décor and paintings on walls. very clean standard. Our family unit was huge. Location was great, night market at door step, Zoo only down the road.

more choice at breakfast buffet (considering the price we have paid and comparing to other hotels we have stayed at) we had to pay to print a page (the only hotel that charged for it) everything else was super.

Great location just opposite to Chiangmai University

Great location. We are very happy with the morning jog in Chiang Mai university. Staffs are friendly.

We've booked 2 rooms (sorry that I can't recognize the room number) - one is perfect but another is musty and the air con is not cool enough.

The overall is good , the room is very clean, a bit noise from reception due to we stay at 2nd flr

Breakfast is Okay, its location is okay for me due to it nears by CMU, just 2-3 minutes walk to get there.

The mattress is quite soft and made me backpain.
